This is the third book within the Harper Connelly Mystery series.

An Ice Cold Grave gave me chills and warmed my heart; an exciting combination!

Fun, cozy mystery.......

This is the second Chloe Boston Mystery, and that i liked it most higher than the primary. The book is humorous, the protagonist is intelligent and quite funny, and also the story of an unknown murder victim at a Halloween Haunted home is smart. the little city of Hope Falls is well-described, and Chloe's want to resolve the murder could be admirable considering her personal fears which she is a meter maid and not a detective. Her interactions together with her family and new boyfriend are entertaining. Her love for her dog, Blue, is obvious and sweet. The formatting for the Kindle was superb. i'm thus glad I continued with this series, and i am very trying forward to Book three.

Excellent Story

I have scan the opposite 2 Donna Ball stories. This one was dedicated. I felt transported to my favorite mountains within the fall.



Sonny is a motivating character and that i will never scan enough concerning her psychic ability.



It was fascinating reading concerning the "dancing dog." i'd like to truly see a routine. I bet it's wonderful. I emjoy reading concerning all the dogs that Raine has. i used to be thus glad that Hero could also be back within the next book that I anxiously await.

I honestly am such an acquaintance of Charlaine Harris that i might go on the subject of anywhere she'd take me. "From Dead to Worse" wasn't quite everywhere the map, however there wasn't the maximum amount of a central them during this book as there was in her usual entries during this series.



We went from weddings, to family revelations, to were-wars--and there was such a lot a lot of. whereas the varying components were fascinating and plenty of did tie along, there wasn't the unity during this book I actually have expected from the series.



The beginning chapter where Sookie served because the bridesmaid for Halleigh's wedding was a derivative from Ms. Harris' short story in an anthology assortment, "My huge Fat Supernatural Wedding." i am wondering if the remainder is not bits and items that have simply required resolving for a few time.



I think you'll see some answers to some fascinating queries you have had as readers all along--like where did Sookie get her gift, what makes her different? And there are many different surprises in store.



Interesting, in part, not as cohesive and riveting as her usual offerings are during a whole. "From Dead to Worse" remains much definitely worth the scan if you're a die-hard Sookie fan like i'm, however this can be honestly the primary of the series i can not merely rave regarding.

This book was somthing that I was always in the mood to read. I was solving the mystery right along with Nancy. Just when you think you have figured it out it completely changes. Along with the mystery it add romance, crime, and excitement! This is the best book I have ever read. Once you start you can not put it down! I would recomend this to anyone who loves Romance novles and a Great mystery too. I was amazed at how real this was, it seemed as if it happen yesterday or an hour ago and it was not just a story. "I Shall Not Want" could be a fun cozy mystery. This book is that the second within the series, however you do not ought to scan the primary book so as to grasp this one. There's an underlying humor to the current mystery, and also the characters were participating and attention-grabbing. There was no sex and minimal gore (mainly simply references to pools of blood). there have been a couple of uses of each express and "he cussed"-style dangerous language. Overall, i would suggest this enjoyable novel, particularly to people who like dogs and mysteries.

I was up till 7am this morning reading this book and its sequel, Murder in an exceedingly Milltown. Not since Owen Parry's Abel Jones series have I been therefore excited a couple of mystery series.



Nell Sweeney may be a young lady with a dark past struggling to create a replacement life for herself aiding a physician when she is given the oppurtunity of a lifetime. Out of the blue, she's offered an edge as governess to the rich Hewitt family's new ward, Grace. She is aware of that her scandalous past would disqualify her for the position however decideds to cover her past and take the task, hoping that this may bring the security and security she's invariably needed.



For a time all goes well, however Nell's rigorously maintained new identity as straight-laced governess is place in jeapordy when her mentor and employer, Viola Hewitt, begs her to assist save the eldest Hewitt son, Will, from hanging for murder. Unable to disappoint the lady who took such an opportunity on her, a poor unconnected Irish lady, Nell agrees to ivestigate the case. Suddenly, Nell is plunged into a world of crime and poverty as she investigates the murder can has been arrested for. Will, rich boy, martyr and rake, dominates each scene he's in. whereas his innocence is questionable, his charisma and also the tragedy of his story soon have Nell determined to try to to everything she will to assist him. whereas can may be slightly of a cliche, the means he wears his frailties on his sleeve creating him a worhty counterbalance to Nell's self concious propriety and righteousness. Their scenes along are a number of the simplest within the book.



Still Life With Murder is teeming with fascinating characters. Nell's outstanding empathy with every of them, from Detective Cook to the prostitute Pearl to self-destructing can Hewitt, build her not solely an excellent amateur sleuth however the proper guide through the luxurious parlors and rank opium dens of nineteenth century Boston.
