An engrossing mystery for fun book lovers

I initial encountered this book whereas babysitting, a few years ago. it had been the kids' new favorite book (they were aged 6-10 perhaps). I scan it to them & was enchanted with it (they simply liked the story). I place the youngsters to bed & proceeded to pay 3+ hours (and i used to be a TV-loving young adult) attempting to unravel all the riddles & the notice the solution to the mystery. I finally figured it out, but later, after I scan the previously sealed "who-dunnit" section, i spotted what quantity i might missed in fantastically re-created design & secreted clues & jokes. The author/illustrator is incredibly imaginative & incorporates superb artistry. i used to be totally engrossed & fully hooked. The family who introduced me to the present book felt strongly regarding providing intelligent, stimulating & highly artistic resources to their kids. Since then I even have bought this as a present over once... The story is easy & rhymes pleasantly so it's appealing to kids. the photographs are advanced & fantastic to appear at. However, i am positive the marvel & journey I found is lost on several kids & adults. they'll not have the patience or love of mystery that I do, however maybe they might grow into it, certainly, over time, new discoveries would seem to even the foremost uninterested reader.
